Online registration and grant applications

1. Please register through the ZWW-website firs for the 2022 summer school. Registration is obligatory for participation and also necessary in order to be considered for grants. However, you may cancel your registration until the 1st of May 2022 without having to give any reasons and without any further costs.

ZWW uses a shopping cart system for which cookies need to be enabled to work. You will be asked for your contact details and also to agree to the university‘s privacy policy which adheres to the privacy regulations of the Federal Government of Germany (English translation: Privacy Policy and Accountregistration.pdf). Please contact Ms Thimm-Netenjakob, if you encounter any problems. We strongly advise to register as soon as possible in order to secure a place.

2. Please wait for an e-mail from Professor Volp who is going to contact you with some further information (for example about the possibility of grants for you. He may also ask you for some more information in order to be able to decide on your application, but also to help with the preparation of the courses, the accommodation etc.).

The deadline for applications for grants for the 2022 course is the 1st of April 2022. You may apply for these grants provided you have received a confirmation of your registration (which may typically take a week to process, so please register early).

3. You will then receive a letter of confirmation of your acceptance for the course via e-mail. This letter has been helpful for many in order to apply for support from their home institutions or other funding bodies. Therefore, but also in the light of the limited number of places available, it is advisable to register as soon as possible!

4. Please wait for your invoice from zww (the payment choices given on the zww site are irrelevant in this case, you will always receive an invoice for this course). If you have successfully applied for a grant, your invoice is going to reflect this by charging you an amount reduced by the grant.
